Drupal Integration

Please note that the Drupal Integration is realized through a paid plugin. To obtain the plugin and its release URL, please contact our support.

The Drupal integration lets editors pick assets in fylr and transfer them into a Drupal site, without downloading and re-uploading them by hand. In Drupal, they appear in the media library and can be used from there as usual. Media files can be sent from fylr, and updates can be synchronized. There is no support for deleting media. Currently, only image formats are supported.

Once both parts are set up, editors can pull assets from fylr while creating or editing Drupal content:

  1. In Drupal, create or edit content that uses the fylr media field (for example an easydb-enabled article).

  2. Choose the option to fetch files from fylr. The fylr login page opens.

  3. Log in to fylr. The fylr file picker opens.

  4. Select one or more assets and confirm the transfer to Drupal.

  5. The selected files are sent to Drupal and attached to the content.
